Sharad Navratri & Dussehra

Mathura & Vrindavan

Nine days of crowded temples and evening aarti. Book taxis a day ahead — lanes slow down near Banke Bihari.

8 November 2026

Mathura, Vrindavan, ghats

Deepdan on the Yamuna and lit temples. Stay nearer Vrindavan if you want to walk after dark. Date per Drik Panchang for India.

9 November 2026

Govardhan parikrama

The day after Diwali. We can plan a slower parikrama by taxi with rest stops for elders — not a forced 21 km walk.

24 November 2026

Vrindavan & Yamuna

Peak Kartik crowd. Book stay and a cab early. Beautiful for evening lamps, hard if you arrive without a plan.

21–23 March 2027 (confirm closer to date)

Barsana, Nandgaon, Vrindavan

Lathmar Holi in Barsana is a few days before Rangwali Holi. Extremely crowded. We only take this if you want the festival — not a quiet darshan trip.

24–25 August 2027 (confirm tithi)

Janmabhoomi, Mathura

Midnight darshan at the birthplace. Book vehicle and a nearby stay weeks ahead. We keep the day slow so elders can rest before night.
